03.06.2004 - 1959 Porsche Diesel Junior tractor. Runs great, complete with three PTO's
and three point lift. Weak cosmetics, but sure to be a hit at any Porsche
event. A great complement to your 356 for only $4950. Myron Vernis,

My 911 is a joy to drive, enjoying the trip between stops, my aesthetic preference in Porsches is the early 356 designs. I'm probably a good candidate for
a bandit vehicle. Some of the work presented in recent Excellence articles has peaked my interest in a totally different creature. I'm not sure where all
this is going, but yes I am in the market for a clean 356.
I don't believe in collecting vehicles, one Porsche in the household is adequate for me. So, while I love the smoothness and responsiveness of the 911, I also
am ready to taste another part of Porsche history. For some reason all the new offerings from Porsche are getting farther and farther away from what I want in
an automobile.
So here is a brief description and pictures of the 911.
1980 911SC, standard fair throughout (leather, power windows, mirrors, and roof), 5-speed, 175K miles, Petroleum blue, beige and dark brown trim, new
windshield and rubber throughout (all windows, doors, deck, roof), some paint pits at front bumper and lower cowl, engine top-end (rod bearings, valve guides, and rings) factory speced at 150K miles by Jones Autohaus, San Antonio, aluminum intake plenum (no more cooked or blown air box problems, original polished Fuchs 16" wheels, everything tight including door seals, radio/tape deck seldom used, rotary a/c compressor replaced York unit at 140K, trombone oil cooler replaced with factory radiator and fan at the same time compressor replaced, a/c now as good as GM air, original muffler and factory heater boxes are still providing excellent service. Two weight transfer adjustments, the rear bumper weights have been removed and the license plate light relocated to the license plate. Also, axillary heater blower removed, heat transfer more than adequate without the extra weight. Everything factory original. Have retained bumper weights and new fan motor if someone wants them reinstalled.
